Começa nesta terça-feira (11) a 2ª etapa da Campanha Nacional de Vacinação contra Influenza. Nesta etapa, que vai até o dia 8 de junho, serão vacinados os idosos com 60 anos ou mais e professores das escolas públicas e privadas. Esta população deverá procurar a unidade de saúde de seu bairro portando cartão do SUS e cartão de vacinação.

2ª etapa – público alvo:

  • Idosos com 60 anos ou mais
  • Professores das escolas públicas e privadas

Vale lembrar que as pessoas pertencentes aos grupos prioritários da 1ª etapa (Crianças de 6 meses a menores de 6 anos, Gestantes e Puérperas e Trabalhadores da saúde) ainda podem comparecer nas unidades para vacinação. A cobertura vacinal deste público ainda é baixa em Nova Serrana; 30% apenas foi imunizado.

– Influenza (Gripe)

A influenza é uma infecção viral aguda, que afeta o sistema respiratório e é de alta transmissibilidade. A estratégia de vacinação contra a influenza foi incorporada no Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI) em 1999, com o propósito de reduzir internações, complicações e óbitos na população-alvo.

A vacinação contra a influenza permitirá, ao longo de 2021, prevenir o surgimento de complicações decorrentes da doença, óbitos e suas consequências sobre os serviços de saúde, além de minimizar a carga da doença, reduzindo os sintomas que podem ser confundidos com os da covid-19.

As ações de imunizações continuam a ser extremamente importantes para a proteção contra a influenza e devem ser mantidas apesar de todos os desafios frente à circulação contínua ou recorrente do SARS-CoV-2.

A meta é vacinar pelo menos 90% dos grupos elegíveis.

  • Pessoas portadoras de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis e outras condições clínicas especiais;
  • Pessoas com deficiência permanente,
  • Forças de segurança e salvamento, Forças Armadas,

  • Trabalhadores portuários
