O 60º Batalhão da Polícia Militar (BPM) recebe nesta segunda-feira (1), seis novas viaturas. A solenidade de entrega será realizada às 16h de hoje, na sede do batalhão, e contará com a presença do coronel Rodrigo Sousa Rodrigues, comandante-geral da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais e do deputado estadual Fábio Avelar. O evento pode ser conferido ao vivo através das redes sociais da Polícia Militar de Nova Serrana.
O 60º BPM atua nos seguintes municípios: Pitangui, Perdigão, Leandro Ferreira, Araújos, Nova Serrana e Conceição do Pará.
Ao todo, foram investidos cerca de R$ 60 milhões para a compra 645 viaturas que serão distribuídos aos municípios mineiros. Os automóveis e motocicletas, que serão usados pela Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais (PMMG), foram adquiridos por meio de recursos de emendas parlamentares federais e estaduais e de convênios com o Fundo Nacional de Segurança Pública, Departamento de Polícia Rodoviária Federal e municípios.
