A Polícia Civil prendeu em flagrante, na tarde de ontem (3), dois suspeitos de tráfico de drogas e apreendeu mais de 5 mil pedras de crack em Nova Serrana. Eles foram surpreendidos em uma área de mata, onde armazenavam o entorpecente.
O trabalho policial é parte de uma investigação da equipe de Tóxicos da PC na cidade, que vinha monitorando os suspeitos. Ao perceberem a presença dos policiais civis, os investigados tentaram fugir e se esconder. Porém, após intenso rastreamento, foram localizados e presos. Para o cerco, a Polícia Civil contou com o apoio da Guarda Municipal.
Durante a ação, foram apreendidas 4 mil pedras de crack distribuídas em quatro sacos plásticos, mais de mil pedras de crack embaladas para venda, 12 cartuchos intactos e três deflagrados de calibre 12, seis munições calibre 38, duas balanças, seis celulares, uma porção de maconha, um suporte para arma, além de grande quantidade de material para embalagem da droga.
“Trata-se de um duro golpe na criminalidade da região, pois além do tráfico de drogas, há fortes indícios sobre o envolvimento dos suspeitos em uma série de homicídios ocorridos na cidade. Além disso, temos a informação da ligação de um deles com uma facção criminosa”, conta o delegado responsável, Davidson Marcos dos Santos Lara.
Após os procedimentos na Delegacia Regional em Nova Serrana, os suspeitos foram encaminhados ao sistema prisional e se encontram à disposição da Justiça.
