A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana informou, nesta quinta-feira (23), que o auxílio do programa “Recupera Minas” vai atender 226 pessoas que ficaram desabrigadas ou desalojadas devido às chuvas de dezembro e janeiro deste ano. O município receberá R$ 270 mil dividido em três parcelas.
De acordo com o secretário de Desenvolvimento Social, Gustavo Amaral, cada pessoa receberá cerca de R$ 1.200. “Teremos que aprovar uma resolução no conselho para repassar esse valor direto às famílias. Nós teremos até o final do ano pra fazer esse repasse”, explicou o responsável pela pasta.

Têm direito aos recursos as cidades que tiveram a situação de calamidade ou emergência reconhecida pelo Governo Federal e finalizaram o envio de informações ao Sistema Integrado de Informações sobre Desastres (S2ID), do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Regional entre 1º de dezembro de 2021 e 17 de janeiro de 2022. Cerca de R$ 97 milhões serão repassados do Fundo Estadual de Assistência Social (FEAS) para os Fundos Municipais de Assistência Social (FMAS), na intenção de custeio do auxílio.
O município tem autonomia para utilizar o valor repassado de acordo com as necessidades de cada localidade, sendo possível utilizar para aquisição de móveis, cestas básicas, kits de higiene ou mesmo ser repassada em dinheiro diretamente às famílias atingidas.
