A 24ª Campanha de Vacinação contra a Influenza será realizada este ano entre 4 de abril e 3 de junho. Em Minas Gerais, a estimativa é que 8.299.488 pessoas estejam incluídas nos grupos prioritários para a vacinação. A imunização tem como objetivo a redução das complicações, internações e a mortalidade decorrentes das infecções pelo vírus da Influenza. A vacina é gratuita e está disponível nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde.
O Ministério da Saúde já divulgou o cronograma da campanha, que terá duas etapas, segundo a população prioritária para a vacinação. A primeira fase vai até 30 de abril e será direcionada aos idosos com 60 anos ou mais de idade e trabalhadores da saúde. Na segunda etapa, de 2 de maio a 3 de junho, as doses serão direcionadas ao público infantil, gestantes e puérperas, indígenas, professores, pessoas com comorbidades e deficientes permanentes, além das Forças Armadas, de segurança e salvamento, dentre outros.
O dia D de mobilização nacional está marcado para 30 de abril. Nesta data, as crianças de 6 meses a menores de 5 anos de idade (4 anos, 11 meses e 29 dias) também devem ser imunizadas.
Segundo a coordenadora estadual do Programa de Imunizações da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde de Minas Gerais (SES-MG), Josianne Gusmão, mesmo quem se imunizou contra Influenza em 2021 e faz parte dos grupos prioritários da campanha deste ano deve tomar a vacina novamente. “A vacina Influenza trivalente utilizada pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) em 2022 é eficaz contra as cepas H1N1, H3N2 e tipo B. A vacinação anual previne as formas graves da doença, reduzindo o impacto sobre o sistema de saúde, principalmente, neste momento de pandemia que estamos enfrentando. A meta é imunizar 90% das pessoas incluídas nos grupos prioritários”, afirma a coordenadora. A SES-MG já iniciou a distribuição do imunizante para as Unidades Regionais de Saúde.
