Atrás apenas da capital Belo Horizonte, Nova Serrana é destaque na geração de empregos no primeiro bimestre de 2022 em Minas Gerais.
De acordo com levantamento feito pela Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social (Sedese), a capital mineira aparece em primeiro lugar entre os municípios com maior geração de emprego formal. Em janeiro e fevereiro, em números absolutos, foram 83.511 admissões e 76.304 desligamentos, resultando no saldo positivo de 7.207 novas vagas. Logo atrás vem Nova Serrana com 3.742 admissões e 1.602 desligamentos, resultando em 2.140 novas vagas no primeiro bimestre. Foi o único município da região Centro-Oeste a se destacar na geração de empregos.

Ainda de acordo com o Caged, os setores que mais geraram novas vagas de emprego entre janeiro e fevereiro de 2022 em Minas Gerais são os serviços na área de administração pública, defesa, seguridades social, saúde humana e serviços sociais (conforme a Classificação Nacional de Atividades Econômicas – CNAE), com 14.221 novas vagas. Em seguida, as indústrias de transformação, com 9.513 novas vagas no primeiro bimestre. Em terceiro lugar, com 9.143 novos postos de trabalho estão os serviços de informação, comunicação e atividades financeiras, imoboliárias, profissionais e administrativas. Em quarto, a construção, com 4.754 vagas e, em quinto, a agropecuária, com 2.539 novas vagas geradas.
Segundo a diretora de Monitoramento e Articulação de Oportunidades de Trabalho da Sedese, Amanda Siqueira Carvalho, o avanço da vacinação contra a covid-19 foi fundamental para o resultado positivo. “O cenário de crescimento econômico apresentado por Minas Gerais se deve, sobretudo, ao alto grau de cobertura da vacinação em todo o estado, que tem possibilitado a redução das restrições ligadas à mobilidade e o retorno, já em patamares normais, das atividades de produção e consumo. Dessa forma, vemos o bom desempenho dos grandes setores econômicos com a abertura de novos postos de trabalhos formais”, destaca.
