A Câmara Municipal de Nova Serrana aprovou o Projeto de Lei que autoriza a criação do Programa “Saúde Rural Itinerante” no município, tendo como objetivo promover atendimentos em locais onde não existam postos de atendimento ou outras unidades de saúde.
A meta é oferecer atendimentos médicos e laboratoriais à população que habita em áreas rurais e que não disponha de estrutura local própria para o atendimento e orientação médica, tanto no campo do diagnóstico, controle, orientação, como eventuais tratamentos, prevenção de doenças e entregas de medicamentos disponibilizados na Farmácia Municipal.
De acordo com o projeto, a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, definirá os critérios para o atendimento, podendo abranger ainda a difusão de informações e orientações quanto aos cuidados preventivos relativos à saúde da mulher, do homem, da criança, e do adolescente, dentre outros.
As datas e horários dos atendimentos itinerantes deverão ocorrer por meio de ampla divulgação, com no mínimo 15 dias de antecedência. Para a realização dos atendimentos, a Secretaria de Saúde poderá contar com o apoio de diferentes órgãos municipais e privados que atuem na área da saúde, bem como com trabalho voluntário de profissionais da área da saúde.
O autor do projeto, vereador Zé Faquinha (MDB) relata que esse programa é essencial para cuidar da saúde da população rural. “Sabemos que muitas pessoas que residem na zona rural, não têm acesso fácil aos serviços oferecidos nos postos na área urbana. A implantação do Programa de Saúde Rural Itinerante poderá facilitar o atendimento para essa parcela de moradores que vive em locais mais distantes”, destacou o vereador acrescentando que a própria Secretaria de Saúde possui veículos que poderão ser utilizados para o deslocamento de profissionais da área médica para as comunidades sem custos e gerando benefícios para inúmeras famílias rurais.
