Os vereadores indicaram os atletas concorrentes e o concurso terá como vencedores, um atletas de cada uma das categorias: Destaque Esportivo, Reconhecimento Esportivo e Legado Esportivo.
Categoria “Destaque Esportivo” – concorrem equipes ou atletas domiciliados em Nova Serrana e que tenham se destacado em eventos regionais, estaduais, nacionais ou internacionais.
Categoria “Legado Esportivo” – concorrem pessoas físicas que tenham se destacado pela notável contribuição para o esporte no município de Nova Serrana.
Categoria “Reconhecimento Esportivo” – concorrem atletas, técnicos, dirigentes ou empresas em atuação e que estejam proporcionando reconhecida contribuição para o desenvolvimento do esporte local, inclusive na modalidade amadora.
