A Avenida Dom Cabral foi o palco do Desfile de 7 de Setembro em Nova Serrana. Forças de segurança, escolas, fanfarras, orquestras, grupos de escoteiros, entidades e organizações sociais participaram do momento, que também comemorou os 200 anos da Independência do Brasil (1822 – 2022).
Uma multidão de espectadores assistiu ao tradicional Desfile Cívico de 7 de Setembro, que também foi transmitido pelos canais oficiais da prefeitura na internet e acompanhado por centenas de pessoas. Diversas autoridades prestigiaram o evento, como o prefeito Euzebio Lago, secretários municipais, vereadores e representantes das forças de segurança (Polícia Militar, Polícia Civil, Corpo de Bombeiros).
O desfile foi dividido em blocos. Todas as 46 unidades educacionais da rede municipal (escolas e Cmeis) tiveram representação no desfile, além das escolas estaduais, Apae e Faculdade de Nova Serrana (Fans). No total, mais 2.000 pessoas passaram pela avenida Dom Cabral na manhã de ontem.
O Desfile de 7 de Setembro acontece em Nova Serrana há mais de 30 anos. Já se tornou um evento tradicional e parte do calendário municipal. Todos os anos, exceto os dois últimos, em razão da pandemia, o desfile é assistido por uma multidão de pessoas.
