Um motociclista, de 29 anos, morreu nesta quinta-feira (10), após bater em uma ambulância do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e ser arremessado para baixo de um caminhão em Divinópolis.
A batida foi no cruzamento das ruas Pernambuco e Bahia, no Centro. De acordo com a, O motorista da ambulância disse à Polícia Militar (PM) que estava a caminho da Sala Vermelha do Complexo de Saúde São João de Deus (CSSJD), com uma mulher e a bebê recém-nascida dela, que tinha se engasgado.
O motorista disse ainda que estava com as luzes e sirenes da ambulância ligados. O motociclista estava atravessando a Rua Bahia e bateu na viatura do Samu que estava na Rua Pernambuco. Com o impacto, a ambulância ainda arrastou a moto por cerca de 90 metros até a Rua Rio Grande do Sul. O motociclista foi arremessado para baixo de um caminhão e morreu no local.
Uma outra ambulância do Samu foi chamada para dar continuidade ao atendimento da recém-nascida. A perícia da Polícia Civil esteve no local para realizar os trabalhos de praxe.
Em nota à imprensa, o Consórcio Intermunicipal de Saúde da Região Ampliada Oeste, lamentou o ocorrido e disse que se solidariza com a família da vítima. De acordo com o Cis-Urg Oeste o veículo estava com a manutenção em dia, o condutor é um profissional concursado e que entrou no Samu em março de 2022.
A diretoria determinou o afastamento do condutor até o término do Processo Administrativo Disciplinar (PAD), para a apuração dos fatos. O Cis-Urg salientou que está prestando apoio aos profissionais envolvidos e que orientou o departamento jurídico a também prestar apoio à família da vítima.
