Após serem divulgadas imagens de superlotação na UPA de Nova Serrana nesta semana, o prefeito Euzebio Lago e a secretária de Saúde, Gláucia Sbampato, anunciaram a instalação de duas unidades de atendimento para atender pacientes com sintomas de dengue. As unidades funcionarão na Policlínica Municipal e no Postão do Planalto.
A partir da segunda-feira (27), as unidades que serão instaladas na Policlínica (rua Zacarias Guimarães, 580 — Laranjeiras) e no Posto de Saúde do Planalto (rua Fernando de Noronha, 691), atenderão pacientes com sintomas de Dengue de segunda a sexta, de 17h às 19h e aos sábados de 7h às 16h.
A orientação é para que somente pessoas com sintomas agravados de Dengue, como fortes dores no corpo e febre, se dirijam às unidades de hidratação. Quem estiver com sintomas leves deve procurar as unidades de saúde de seus bairros que também estarão preparadas para realizar o atendimento.
O objetivo da criação das unidades de hidratação é atender a alta demanda por atendimentos de pessoas com sintomas da doença, além de diminuir a superlotação da UPA, que tem feito mais de 500 atendimentos por dia.
