A parcela de famílias brasileiras com dívidas (em atraso ou não) chegou a 78,3% em abril deste ano. A taxa é a mesma observada no mês anterior, mas está acima dos 77,7% de abril de 2022. Os dados são da Pesquisa de Endividamento e Inadimplência do Consumidor (Peic), divulgada nesta quinta-feira (4), pela Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo (CNC).
A previsão é que o percentual de 78,3% se mantenha nos próximos dois meses e suba para 78,4% em julho, segundo a CNC.
A pesquisa indica que a parcela de inadimplentes – aqueles que têm contas ou dívidas em atraso –, chegou a 29,1% das famílias do país, abaixo dos 29,4% de março, mas acima dos 28,6% de abril de 2022. O aumento ocorreu principalmente na classe média. Aqueles que não terão condição de pagar suas dívidas somaram 11,6%, percentual superior aos 11,5% de março e aos 10,9% de abril do ano anterior. “Quem tem dívidas atrasadas há mais tempo segue enfrentando dificuldade de sair da inadimplência em função dos juros elevados, que pioram as despesas financeiras”, destaca a economista da CNC Izis Ferreira.
A cada 100 consumidores inadimplentes em abril, 45 estavam com atrasos por mais de três meses. Segundo a Peic, muitos consumidores têm recorrido ao crédito pessoal, modalidade onde os juros tiveram o menor crescimento (média de 42% ao ano), para pagar dívidas mais caras, como do cartão rotativo, por exemplo.
Do total de consumidores endividados, 86,8% têm dívidas no cartão de crédito e 9% com crédito pessoal. O uso dessa modalidade de crédito é o maior em um ano, enquanto o do crédito pessoal supera os últimos seis meses, conforme a CNC. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
