A prefeitura está finalizando a obra de construção do novo acesso à BR-262 através da avenida José João Rodrigues, no bairro Park Dona Gumercinda Martins. No domingo (9), foi concluída a pavimentação do trecho e a via já está liberada para trânsito.
Esta é mais uma importante obra anunciada pelo governo municipal entregue para a população. O objetivo é criar mais um acesso à BR-262 e mais uma rota de tráfego, desafogando vias e avenidas adjacentes, principalmente nos horários de pico. A obra consiste na construção de uma ponte mista no entroncamento das avenidas José João Rodrigues e Belém, pavimentação e sinalização de todo o trecho.
“Estamos finalizando um pacote de obras nesta região. Além da pavimentação de toda a Avenida Belém tem este novo corredor de trânsito que é um marco na mobilidade urbana da cidade. E não é só a população de Nova Serrana que será beneficiada, turistas, visitantes e motoristas de cidades como Perdigão e Araújos também terão mais um ponto de acesso serão beneficiados com a nova rota. Agradeço aqui também a parceria da Câmara Municipal por apoiar nossos projetos”, comentou o prefeito Euzebio Lago.
No total foram investidos mais de R$2,3 milhões de reais de recursos próprios na execução dos trabalhos.
