A Câmara de Nova Serrana implantou a Escola do Legislativo no ano de 2015 e desde então, muitos são os esforços dos vereadores e equipe legislativa para a Escola contribuir cada vez mais com a promoção do conhecimento e da cidadania.
Atualmente a Escola do Legislativo oferece cursos gratuitos de Informática, Português para ENEM, Cidadania, Tecnologia para Idosos, além de realizar inúmeros seminários, workshops e capacitações internas e também para os cidadãos.
Uma conquista recente da Câmara para a Escola foi a aquisição de cadeiras com braço, específicas para uso em sala de aula. Os móveis já estão sendo utilizados para dar mais comodidade aos estudantes nas atividades.
A Câmara também já programou a construção de um espaço mais amplo e adequado à Escola do Legislativo no novo anexo que está em obras. Em breve, toda a população poderá usufruir ainda mais das aulas e outras atividades de qualificação na Câmara de Nova Serrana.
