Em comemoração ao 1º Mês da Pessoa com Deficiência em Nova Serrana, foi realizada uma ação na última sexta-feira (22/9), na Escola Municipal Agenor Joaquim, no bairro Moreiras. Prestigiaram a atividade, representantes das secretarias de Esporte e Lazer, e de Educação e Cultura.
O evento contou com a participação do atleta paraolímpico multimedalhista Mateus Henrique, da cidade de Pitangui, que compartilhou um pouco da sua experiência com o esporte e respondeu às perguntas dos alunos presentes.
Na ocasião houve também, apresentações dos alunos, a entrega de medalhas pela participação no Jains Kids, além de uma homenagem ao professor Nalbert pelo incentivo à prática esportiva.
