O Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) divulgou nesta sexta-feira (27) os dados sobre faixa etária referentes ao Censo 2022. Nova Serrana figura em primeiro lugar em Minas como a cidade com o menor índice de envelhecimento.
Este índice, segundo o IBGE, representa o número de pessoas com 65 anos ou mais residentes, em relação a um grupo de 100 crianças com idade de zero a 14 anos. Quanto maior o valor do indicador, mais envelhecida é a população.
No caso, em Minas Gerais, Nova Serrana apresenta o melhor resultado (21,2), seguido das cidades de São João das Missões – Norte de Minas – (23,9), Delta – Triângulo Mineiro – (28,1), Jaíba (29,3) e Verdelândia (32,1) – ambas no Norte de Minas.
O IBGE vem divulgando os dados apurados no Censo 2022 de forma progressiva.
Números no país
Entre as cidades com mais de 100 mil habitantes no país, Nova Serrana figura em sexto lugar segundo o IBGE. Quase 28% da população residente possui entre 15 e 29 anos.
Neste sentido, em primeiro aparece a cidade de Breves (PA) — 29,39%, 2º Cametá (PA) —28,6%, 3º Balsas (MA) — 28,19%, 4º Santana (AP) — 28,09%, 5º Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA) — 28,03% e 6º Nova Serrana — 27,92% (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL E IBGE)
