Em pronunciamento em rede nacional nesta quinta-feira (7) pelo Dia Internacional das Mulheres – nesta sexta-feira, 8 de março -, a ministra das Mulheres, Cida Gonçalves, afirmou que uma das preocupações da gestão do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva é o combate à violência doméstica. Por isso, segundo ela, serão inauguradas este ano mais Casas da Mulher Brasileira, locais onde as vítimas de agressões recebem atendimento e acolhimento.
De 2015 até 2023, 10,6 mil brasileiras foram vítimas de feminicídio, segundo levantamento do Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP). No ano passado, foram mortas 1,4 mil mulheres, de acordo com a pesquisa.
O feminicídio é uma qualificação do crime de homicídio doloso, quando há a intenção de matar. É o assassinato decorrente de violência contra a mulher, em razão da condição do sexo ou quando demonstrado desprezo pela condição de mulher.
“Amanhã, 8 de março, é dia de homenagear todas as mulheres do mundo. Mulheres que querem muito mais do que flores. Que exigem, acima de tudo, respeito”, afirmou a ministra.
Diferença salarial
A ministra afirmou ainda ser inaceitável a diferença salarial entre homens e mulheres que ocupam o mesmo cargo.
Em julho do ano passado, o governo federal sancionou uma lei que garante igualdade salarial entre homens e mulheres e estabelece medidas para tornar os salários mais justos, aumentando a fiscalização contra a discriminação e facilitando os processos legais para garantir igualdade salarial.
Com a nova lei, empresas com 100 ou mais funcionários devem fornecer relatórios semestrais transparentes sobre salários e critérios de remuneração. Esses relatórios devem conter informações que permitam comparar salários e remunerações entre homens e mulheres de forma objetiva. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
