A Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG) e a Secretaria de Estado de Planejamento e Gestão (Seplag-MG) alertam a população para a disseminação de notícias falsas sobre a Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN).
Desde janeiro deste ano, já foram emitidas mais de 400 mil unidades em todo o estado.
Conforme destaca a coordenadora da Divisão de Datiloscopia do Instituto de Identificação da PCMG, delegada Danielle Aguiar, são inverídicas informações que circulam dando conta de que a gratuidade para emissão da primeira via da CIN é garantida apenas para o ano de 2024. “Notícias dessa natureza não são verdadeiras. A primeira via da CIN é gratuita para qualquer cidadão, a qualquer tempo, não havendo necessidade de urgência para requerê-la. O modelo anterior da carteira de identidade terá validade até 23/2/2032”, esclarece.
A diretora do Instituto de Identificação, delegada Adriana de Barros Monteiro, acrescenta que a criação e o compartilhamento de notícias falsas como essa, além de estarem sujeitas à responsabilização penal, configuram enorme prejuízo ao serviço público.

“Desde a implementação da CIN em Minas Gerais, a PCMG tem trabalhado dia e noite para garantir o acesso de todos os cidadãos a esse importante serviço. O aumento no volume de pedidos a partir de um falso alarme, contudo, pode desfavorecer aqueles que de fato necessitam com urgência do documento”, ressalta Monteiro, frisando que as informações oficiais devem ser obtidas nos sites da PCMG (www.policiacivil.mg.gov.br) e da Seplag-MG (www.planejamento.mg.gov.br), além do Portal MG (www.mg.gov.br).
