O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgências (SAMU), que atua na região Oeste de Minas, recebeu 29 novas ambulâncias para renovação de sua frota, por parte do Governo Federal. Todos os municípios da região serão beneficiados. O evento de entrega aconteceu na quinta-feira (4), e faz parte da renovação de frota do SAMU, com o investimento do Novo Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC), que soma R$ 89 milhões. As ambulâncias entregues vão fortalecer o atendimento em 248 municípios de 24 estados, entre os quais Nova Serrana.
O evento contou com a participação do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, da ministra da Saúde Nísia Trindade, entre outras autoridades. “Nós tomamos a decisão de que o governo brasileiro tem que assumir a responsabilidade de cuidar do seu povo. E é por isso que nós criamos o SAMU. Ninguém pode morrer por falta de assistência. Ninguém pode morrer porque demorou muito para tirar a pessoa que estava ferida numa estrada. Ninguém pode morrer porque não apareceu ambulância”, enfatizou o presidente.
Diretores da Central de Regulação do Consórcio Intermunicipal de Saúde da Região Oeste para Gerenciamento dos Serviços de Urgência e Emergência de Divinópolis (CIS-URG Oeste) receberam os veículos. O Gerente Administrativo Dárcio Abud Lemos e a coordenadora da Thamara Lesse, participaram da solenidade representando o Consórcio. Thamara também representou todos os colaboradores do SAMU do Brasil e em sua fala destacou a atuação do Serviço. “Nossa missão é unir para salvar. Tem sido alegria para todos nós encontrar ressonância no governo federal para políticas públicas.”, destacou.
