O movimento Vida Além do Trabalho (VAT) agitou as redes sociais e a imprensa nos últimos dias com a proposta de fim da escala de 6 dias de trabalho por 1 dia de folga, a chamada escala 6×1.
Com a pressão social, cresceu, no intervalo de uma semana, de 60 para 134 o total de deputados que assinaram a proposta de emenda à Constituição (PEC) que estabelece a jornada de trabalho de, no máximo, 36 horas semanais e 4 dias de trabalho por semana no Brasil, acabando com a escalada de 6 por 1.
São necessárias 171 assinaturas para a PEC começar a tramitar na Câmara. E para ser aprovada, precisa do voto de 308 dos 513 parlamentares, em dois turnos de votação.
De autoria da deputada Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP), a proposta foi apresenta em 1º de maio deste ano inspirada no movimento VAT que, por meio de uma petição online, já recolheu mais de 2,3 milhões de assinaturas na internet a favor do fim da escala 6 por 1.
“[A jornada 6×1] tira do trabalhador o direito de passar tempo com sua família, de cuidar de si, de se divertir, de procurar outro emprego ou até mesmo se qualificar para um emprego melhor. A escala 6×1 é uma prisão, e é incompatível com a dignidade do trabalhador”, argumentou Erika Hilton em uma rede social.
