Na noite desta quinta-feira (6) foram anunciadas medidas para baratear os preços dos alimentos ao consumidor final. A ação vem após diversas reuniões com empresários, produtores, agricultores e integrantes do setor produtivo, por parte do Governo Federal.
O anúncio foi feito pelo vice-presidente e ministro Geraldo Alckmin, após reunião comandada pelo presidente Lula com os ministros Carlos Fávaro (Agricultura), Paulo Teixeira (Desenvolvimento Agrário e Agricultura Familiar), Rui Costa (Casa Civil), Sidônio Palmeira (Secretaria de Comunicação Social) e Dario Durigan, secretário-executivo do Ministério da Fazenda, além do próprio Alckmin (Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços). “São medidas para reduzir preços, para favorecer o cidadão e a cidadã, para que ele possa manter o seu poder de compra, possa ter a sua cesta básica com preço melhor. Isso também acaba estimulando o setor produtivo e o comércio. Todas elas são medidas, desde regulatórias até medidas tributárias, em que o governo está deixando de arrecadar, abrindo mão de imposto para favorecer a redução de preço”, ressaltou Alckmin.
AMPLIAÇÃO
Uma ação no plano regulatório envolve a extensão do Serviço de Inspeção Municipal (SIM). O intuito é possibilitar, pelo período de um ano, a comercialização em todo o território nacional dos produtos que já foram devidamente certificados no âmbito municipal. A medida alcança itens como leite fluido, mel e ovos.
FORMAÇÃO DE ESTOQUES
No Plano Safra, haverá estímulo à produção de itens da cesta básica e a Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab) vai investir na formação de estoques reguladores. “Teremos um conjunto de produtos que serão subsidiados para oferecer para a sociedade brasileira, centrando na cesta básica. Além da cesta básica, vimos que tem alguns produtos da agricultura que podem ser insumos para a indústria e são importados. Eles também serão subsidiados”, afirmou Paulo Teixeira.
