A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer, deu início às disputas esportivas da Festa do Trabalhador 2025, o maior evento realizado no município. Com 30 modalidades, a programação acontecerá durante os meses de março e abril, reunindo atletas de diversas categorias e incentivando a prática esportiva na cidade.
Entre as competições está a Corrida do Trabalhador “Mac 40 anos”, que será realizada no domingo, 27 de abril. As inscrições começaram na última quarta-feira (12), e o primeiro lote, especial para moradores de Nova Serrana, esgotou em poucas horas. Em breve, dois novos lotes serão disponibilizados. As inscrições são gratuitas pelo Sympla: https://www.sympla.com.br/evento/corrida-do-trabalhador-mac-40-anos. O kit poderá ser retirado com a doação de 1 litro de leite ou 1 kg de alimento não perecível.
Na quinta-feira (13), foi realizada a Arbitral com os times inscritos no Campeonato de Futsal. Durante a reunião, foram definidas as regras, datas e organização da competição, sendo a maior entre as modalidades do evento. Neste ano, 42 times disputarão a taça e a partida de abertura será na quarta-feira, 19 de março, no Poliesportivo Ápio Cardoso.
Além do futsal e da corrida, o evento contará com 30 modalidades esportivas, incluindo Festival de Lutas (Muay Thay, o Jiu-jitsu, MMA , Capoeira, entre outras), Patins, Basquete 3×3, modalidades do Ciclismo, Peteca, Handebol, Skate, Xadrez, Truco, Natação, Corridas e Caminhada, Motocross, Vôlei de areia, Beach Tênis, Futevôlei, Tênis e Danças.
Para celebrar a integração entre esporte e comunidade, a Secretaria de Esporte também promoverá a Festa da Família, com rua de lazer e recreação no dia 27 de abril, juntamente com a realização da Corrida Rústica do Trabalhador.
