Cerca de 45 mil pessoas em 787 municípios já utilizam a Carteira de Identificação da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (Ciptea). O documento gratuito é emitido pelo Governo de Minas que, desde 2021, vem garantindo o acesso prioritário a serviços essenciais, beneficiando diretamente crianças, jovens e adultos com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA).
A iniciativa é executada pela Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social (Sedese), em parceria com a Secretaria de Estado de Planejamento e Gestão (Seplag), e reforça o compromisso do Estado com a acessibilidade e os direitos das pessoas com TEA.
Novidade
Ampliando as funções da carteira, o documento agora conta com uma novidade: a inclusão do Código Internacional de Doenças (CID), facilitando ainda mais a identificação e o acesso a serviços nas áreas de educação, saúde e assistência social.
A carteira também assegura mais comodidade na hora de comprovar a necessidade de atendimento prioritário em locais públicos e privados.
“A carteira de identificação é um exemplo do nosso compromisso em garantir que cada pessoa tenha seus direitos respeitados e acesso facilitado a serviços essenciais. Estamos avançando para tornar Minas Gerais um estado mais acessível e justo para todos”, destacou o governador Romeu Zema.
A secretária de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social, Alê Portela, reforça a importância deste novo passo. “A inclusão social é um direito de todos e o Governo de Minas tem trabalhado para garantir isso às pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. A Ciptea é um passo fundamental nesse processo de inclusão, sendo mais do que um documento, uma ferramenta essencial para garantir direitos”, enfatiza a secretária de Estado de Desenvolvimento Social Alê Portela.
O que é Ciptea e como solicitar
A Carteira de Identificação da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (Ciptea) foi regulamentada em Minas Gerais em 2021, seguindo a Lei Federal nº 13.977/2020, conhecida como Lei Romeo Mion.
A Ciptea pode ser solicitada de forma online, pelo aplicativo MG App, ou por meio do site cidadao.mg.
