A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana inaugura nesta terça (22), às 15h, o Centro de Tratamento Intensivo (CTI) no Hospital São José (sob a gestão do Hospital São João de Deus — Divinópolis). O governador Romeu Zema e o secretário de Estado de Saúde Fábio Baccheretti são aguardados no evento.
Em um vídeo postado nas redes sociais, o prefeito de Nova Serrana, Fábio Avelar, afirmou que o CTI funcionará com 10 leitos.
Em uma entrevista na semana passada, o prefeito esclareceu que os leitos atenderão aos pacientes do município, mas serão regulados pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS — Governo de Minas). O chefe do executivo municipal ressaltou ainda que Nova Serrana entrará em uma nova fase em relação aos serviços de saúde pública ofertados à população, ampliando a possibilidade realização de diversos procedimentos eletivos (intervenções médicas planejadas e agendadas, que não são considerados urgentes ou emergenciais), além do atendimento a pacientes que precise de tratamento médico intensivo.
Ampliação do serviço de hemodiálise
Na quarta-feira (16) foi inaugurada a ampliação do serviço de hemodiálise que funciona em anexo ao Hospital São José em Nova Serrana. Com os novos equipamentos, Nova Serrana passa de 15 para 29 máquinas de hemodiálise habilitadas pelo SUS, ampliando o número de pacientes atendidos de 78 para 110 pessoas e aumentando a capacidade mensal de sessões de 960 para 1.344 procedimentos.
