A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana realiza nesta sexta-feira (11) um mutirão de limpeza nos bairros Santo Expedito e Santa Cruz. A ação acontece das 7h às 15h e visa principal combater a proliferação do mosquito Aedes aegypti, transmissor de doenças como dengue, zika e chikungunya.
Conforme os trabalhos da Vigilância Epidemiológica da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, durante as últimas inspeções realizadas pela equipe de campo, foi identificado um acúmulo significativo de materiais inservíveis nas regiões atendidas, aumentando o risco de formação de criadouros do mosquito. O mutirão visa eliminar esses focos e conscientizar os moradores sobre a importância da prevenção.
Além da remoção de possíveis criadouros, a ação também tem caráter educativo, com orientações à comunidade sobre práticas de saúde que devem ser adotadas dentro e fora das residências. A mobilização reforça o papel fundamental da população no combate ao vetor, destacando que pequenas atitudes diárias podem evitar a propagação de doenças.
A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana conta com a colaboração dos moradores, disponibilizando corretamente os materiais inservíveis para recolhimento e mantendo os quintais sempre limpos e livres de recipientes que acumulem água parada.
