O mês de agosto terá um aumento nas contas de energia devido ao acionamento da bandeira tarifaria vermelha, no maior patamar, o 2, anunciou na sexta-feira (25) a Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel). Com isso, os consumidores terão custo extra de R$ 7,87 a cada 100 quilowatts-hora (kWh) consumidos.
Segundo a agência, a adoção da bandeira no patamar 2, após ter acionado o patamar 1 em junho e julho, ocorreu diante do cenário de chuvas abaixo da média em todo o país, o que reduziu a geração hidrelétrica. “O cenário de afluências abaixo da média em todo o país reduz a geração por meio de hidrelétricas. Esse quadro eleva os custos de geração de energia, devido à necessidade de acionamento de fontes mais caras, como as usinas termelétricas”, disse a Aneel.
Em maio, a Aneel acionou a bandeira amarela por conta do baixo volume de chuvas em razão da transição do período chuvoso para o período seco do ano. Além disso, as previsões de chuvas e vazões nas regiões dos reservatórios para os próximos meses ficaram abaixo da média.
Desde dezembro de 2024, a bandeira tarifária permanecia verde, por causa das condições favoráveis de geração de energia no país. Segundo a Agência, a mudança ocorreu devido à redução das chuvas, com a transição do período chuvoso para o período seco do ano.
Bandeiras tarifárias
Criado em 2015 pela Aneel, o sistema de bandeiras tarifárias reflete os custos variáveis da geração de energia elétrica. Divididas em níveis, as bandeiras indicam quanto está custando para o Sistema Interligado Nacional (SIN) gerar a energia usada nas residências, em estabelecimentos comerciais e nas indústrias.
Quando a conta de luz é calculada pela bandeira verde, não há nenhum acréscimo. Quando são aplicadas as bandeiras vermelha ou amarela, a conta sofre acréscimos a cada 100 kWh consumidos. Na bandeira amarela, o acréscimo é de R$ 1,885 a cada 100 kWh consumidos.
Já a bandeira vermelha possui dois patamares. No primeiro, a tarifa sofre acréscimo de R$ 4,463 para cada 100 kWh consumidos. No patamar 2, o valor passa para R$ 7,877 a cada 100 kWh consumidos. (COM INF. AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
