O Ministério da Saúde informou que, a partir de hoje (8), entregará mais um lote de vacinas da covid-19 a todas unidades federativas para reforço da campanha de imunização. Acrescentou que 4,4 milhões de doses serão entregues “de forma proporcional e igualitária”.
Desse total, 2 milhões serão de vacinas da CoronaVac produzidas pelo Instituto Butantan, e 2,4 milhões serão da AstraZeneca/Oxford, da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). Todas essas doses foram produzidas no Brasil com matéria-prima importada.
“As doses serão destinadas para vacinação de trabalhadores da saúde, idosos entre 65 e 74 anos, forças de segurança e salvamento e Forças Armadas que atuam na linha de frente do combate à pandemia”, informou, por meio de nota, o Ministério da Saúde.
Parte das vacinas será destinada para a primeira dose dos agentes das forças de segurança e salvamento, Forças Armadas e idosos entre 65 e 69 anos.
As demais vacinas têm como destino a segunda dose a ser aplicada em trabalhadores da saúde e idosos entre 70 e 74 anos, de forma a garantir a aplicação conforme o tempo recomendado de cada imunizante (quatro semanas para a vacina do Butantan e 12 semanas para as doses da Fiocruz).
