Após o vencimento da terceira e última parcela do Imposto sobre a Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA) de 2021, em Minas Gerais, a arrecadação chegou a R$ 4,53 bilhões – até o dia 31/3 -, o equivalente a 72% do total emitido para o ano. Desse valor, 46,49% foram quitados em cota única, com desconto de 3%, e 53,51% de modo parcelado.
Os proprietários de veículos que ainda não quitaram o débito podem pagar diretamente nos terminais de autoatendimento ou nos guichês dos bancos credenciados, bastando informar o número do Renavam. O valor devido já sairá atualizado com multa e juros. Quem optar por emitir uma guia de arrecadação do IPVA, deve acessar o site www.fazenda.mg.gov.br.
Os agentes credenciados são Banco do Brasil (Mais BB e Banco Postal), Bradesco, Sicoob, Mercantil do Brasil, Santander, Caixa Econômica Federal e Casas Lotéricas.
Vale lembrar que o pagamento em atraso do IPVA gera multa de 0,3% ao dia (até o 30º dia), multa de 20% após o 30º dia e juros Selic calculados sobre o valor do imposto ou das parcelas, conforme o caso. Além disso, estar em dia com é uma das exigências para que o veículo esteja regularizado junto à autoridade de trânsito e seja apto a circular.
– Destinação
Os recursos obtidos com o imposto são distribuídos da seguinte maneira:
40% vão para o caixa único do Tesouro Estadual;
40% são destinados para o município de emplacamento do veículo;
20% vão para o Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais de Educação (Fundeb).
– ‘Bom Pagador’
Em 2021, 2.215.795 veículos – 21,42% da frota tributável – receberam o desconto extra de 3% aplicado automaticamente sobre o valor do imposto, de acordo com os critérios do Programa de Incentivo à Regularidade do Pagamento do IPVA, chamado de “Bom Pagador”. A iniciativa prevê o desconto para os contribuintes que se mantiverem regulares por dois anos consecutivos em relação a todos os débitos vinculados ao veículo.
