A Secretaria de Estado de Educação de Minas Gerais (SEE/MG) prorrogou, até o dia 2/7, o prazo para realizar a Avaliação Trimestral. O período terminaria nesta sexta-feira (25), mas foi ampliado por mais uma semana para dar mais uma oportunidade para os estudantes fazerem a prova. O exame é parte do Regime de Estudo não Presencial e pretende fornecer subsídios ao professor para constatar se os objetivos de ensino estabelecidos foram atingidos.
A Avaliação Trimestral deve ser feita por alunos da rede pública estadual a partir do 2º ano do ensino fundamental até o 3º ano do ensino médio, além das turmas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) e da correção de fluxo. Os exames estão disponíveis on-line – via aplicativo Conexão Escola 2.0 e web – e também de forma impressa para quem não tem acesso à internet.
A partir dos resultados, assim como na Avaliação Diagnóstica, será feito um plano de estudos individual, com as indicações do conteúdo que deve receber mais atenção e qual material pode ser usado pelo aluno para cumprir o objetivo.

Cada escola poderá determinar se vai atribuir pontos na avaliação para os alunos e sobre a obrigatoriedade de realização da prova. Vale lembrar que a Avaliação Trimestral deve ser feita sem consulta. Assim, será possível ter um diagnóstico mais fiel da realidade de cada aluno da rede.
A participação também conta para o Prêmio Escola Transformação, que pode render retorno em dinheiro para a unidade escolar. Quanto maior a participação, melhor colocada no ranking a unidade de ensino ficará.
