A Polícia Militar conseguiu identificar o motorista que atropelou uma ciclista e fugiu sem prestar socorro no dia 4 de julho em Nova Serrana. No impacto, Ester Leite Coelho, 38 anos, não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu no local.
Segundo a PM, a equipe foi informada no sábado (10), sobre possível envolvimento de um indivíduo no acidente e foi até o endereço, no Centro da cidade. No local, a polícia foi recebida pelo denunciado de 30 anos.
Ele confessou seu envolvimento no acidente e relatou que havia batido em alguma coisa, não sabendo o que era, e fugiu em seguida por não possuir CNH.
Ainda de acordo com a PM, por ter passado o período de flagrante, o motorista não foi preso.
