Na manhã desta sexta-feira (5), a Polícia Civil com apoio do Ministério Púbico, deflagrou a operação “Save the kids”, que resultou na prisão em flagrante de um suspeito de estupro de vulnerável, tráfico de drogas e corrupção de menores, em Itaúna. Um adolescente, companheiro do investigado, ainda foi apreendido.
O delegado Leonardo Pio revela que as investigações tiveram início em novembro de 2020, após denúncias de que um diretor escolar, que também é professor e líder comunitário, estaria envolvido em abuso e aliciamento de crianças e adolescentes. “Recebemos informações de que o investigado aliciava as vítimas, fornecendo a elas dinheiro, presentes, comidas e favores a troco de prática de sexo com ele”, conta.
Ainda segundo Pio, até o momento, foram identificadas duas vítimas, de 14 e 15 anos. Os abusos contra a de 15 anos teriam começado quando ela tinha 14. Também foi levantado que o suspeito, de 33 anos, já possui registros policiais pelo crime de estupro de vulnerável.
Durante o cumprimento de três mandados de busca domiciliar contra o alvo, as equipes arrecadaram dois aparelhos celulares, diversos pen drives, dois computadores e porções de maconha. O material será encaminhado para perícia e analisado no âmbito do inquérito policial.
A investigação é realizada pela PC em Itaúna e a operação contou com o apoio de policiais civis lotados na Delegacia Regional em Divinópolis para o cumprimento dos mandados.
Concluídos os procedimentos, o suspeito foi encaminhado ao sistema prisional, ficando à disposição da Justiça.
