Um nove lote de vacinas contra a Covid-19 chega a Nova Serrana. De acordo com o balanço da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde (SES-MG), o município vai receber 1.048 vacinas da Pfizer (1ª dose), 473 da Astrazeneca (2ª dose) e 485 da CoronaVac (1ª dose).
Segundo o governo de Minas, a distribuição de 878.040 doses de vacinas para as 28 Unidades Regionais de Saúde (URSs) começou na quarta-feira (28). A remessa será destinada para aplicação da primeira dose em caminhoneiros, trabalhadores industriais com idade entre 50 a 54 anos e para a aplicação da segunda dose de pessoas com comorbidades e deficiência permanente, trabalhadores aeroportuários, Forças de Segurança e Salvamento e Forças Armadas.
Porém, os municípios que tenham completado o esquema vacinal de todas as pessoas de um grupo prioritário, e tiver dose disponível, poderão avançar na imunização de outros grupos prioritários elencados pelo Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI), do Ministério da Saúde. Em Nova Serrana, atualmente estão sendo imunizadas as pessoas com mais de 35 anos.
