Representantes dos compromitentes do Termo de Medidas de Reparação – Governo de Minas, Ministério Público de Minas Gerais (MPMG), Ministério Público Federal (MPF) e Defensoria Pública de Minas Gerais (DPMG) – e da compromissária – Vale S.A.- se reuniram com prefeitos de 25 municípios atingidos pelo rompimento das barragens em Brumadinho para definição dos próximos passos para execução dos projetos do programa de Resposta Rápida, referentes ao Anexo I.3 do termo judicial.
O termo de adesão, que foi enviado por ofício e deve ser devolvido assinado pelas prefeituras até esta sexta-feira (13), formaliza o assentimento dos municípios aos projetos para que a Vale dê início aos trabalhos, e também confirma a concordância dos prefeitos em relação à atuação da Auditoria Socioeconômica, que será realizada pela FGV.
Caso o município não faça adesão a algum projeto especificamente, será necessário encaminhar justificativa técnica para deliberação dos compromitentes. De acordo com o secretário adjunto da Seplag, a expectativa é de que os primeiros equipamentos, inclusos no pacote de Resposta Rápida, sejam entregues pela Vale no primeiro trimestre de 2022.
O pacote de respostas rápidas de Brumadinho foi discutido em reunião anterior. O município tem um conjunto de projetos específicos, previstos no Anexo I.4, que conta com um montante de R$ 1,5 bilhão.
Após a assinatura pelos municípios do Termo de Adesão aos projetos do pacote de Resposta Rápida, a Vale concluirá o detalhamento dos projetos e encaminhará para aprovação dos compromitentes. Em seguida, será dada ordem de início dos projetos, que serão financiados e executados pela Vale – sem vínculo e dependência à Lei 23.830/21 sancionada pelo governador em 28/7/2021. São chamados no Termo de Reparação de “Obrigações de Fazer da Vale”.
