Mais de 7,3 milhões de segurados do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS) ainda precisam fazer a prova de vida até dezembro de 2021. Quem não cumprir a exigência terá sanções que podem chegar à suspensão do pagamento de benefícios por falta de atualização cadastral.
O prazo varia conforme o mês em que o recadastramento deveria ter sido feito em 2020. Quem faria a prova de vida em setembro ou outubro de 2020 e ainda não fez a atualização deve realizar o procedimento até o dia 30 de setembro deste ano.
Em outubro, será a vez de quem teria que fazer a comprovação em novembro e dezembro de 2020. O segurado não é obrigado a esperar até o mês em que o prazo dele acaba.
– Etapas
A não realização do cadastramento não implica em cancelamento imediato do benefício, antes disso há outras duas etapas: bloqueio e suspensão do pagamento. Durante o mês de setembro, quem teve o benefício bloqueado em junho entra agora na etapa de suspensão. Se ainda assim não atualizar os dados nessa segunda etapa, o benefício será cancelado.
– Cortes
Segurados que já tiverem seus benefícios bloqueados e suspensos podem reativá-los diretamente no banco. Benefícios cancelados também podem ser reativados. Nesse caso, o segurado terá que ligar para a central 135 e agendar o serviço de reativação de benefício. Esse procedimento também pode ser feito pelo aplicativo Meu INSS. Após acessar o Meu INSS com o número do CPF e a senha cadastrada, busque por Reativar Benefício, na lupa.
O recadastramento é feito no banco onde o aposentado ou pensionista recebe seu benefício (no guichê de atendimento, pelo caixa eletrônico e até pelo internet banking, em alguns casos).
– Maiores de 80
Maiores de 80 anos e pessoas a partir de 60 anos que tenham dificuldade de locomoção podem fazer a prova de vida em domicílio. O beneficiário ou um familiar pode agendar, pelo 135 ou pelo Meu INSS, uma visita de um funcionário do órgão. Os segurados com biometria cadastrada no TSE (via título de eleitor) e no Detran podem fazer a prova de vida digital, por meio do Meu INSS.
– Vencimento
O mês original de renovação da prova de vida é estabelecido pelo banco que paga o benefício. O critério varia de acordo com cada instituição:
Caixa – O vencimento se dá em até um ano da última prova de vida realizada
Banco do Brasil – A prova de vida é feita no mês de aniversário do beneficiário
Bradesco – O vencimento da prova de vida é o mês em que o cliente recebeu o primeiro pagamento
Itaú Unibanco – O vencimento ocorre quando completado um ano após a realização do último procedimento
Santander – O vencimento da prova de vida ocorre anualmente com base na data da concessão da aposentadoria
Segundo o INSS, desde o ano passado, mesmo no período em que a prova de vida deixou de ser obrigatória, por conta da pandemia de covid-19, mais de 28,7 milhões de beneficiários fizeram o procedimento.
