    AGÊNCIA DE CLASSIFICAÇÃO DE RISCO ELEVA NOTA DE CRÉDITO DO BRASIL

    A agência de classificação de risco Fitch elevou, nesta quarta (26), a nota de crédito do Brasil de BB- para BB, com perspectiva estável.

     

    No anúncio, a agência justificou a nova classificação como reflexo de “um desempenho macroeconômico e fiscal melhor do que o esperado, em meio a sucessivos choques nos últimos anos, políticas proativas e reformas que apoiaram isso e a expectativa da Fitch de que o novo governo trabalhará para melhorias adicionais”.

     

    A avaliação do Brasil foi rebaixada para o patamar BB- em 2018. Mas, ao analisar o risco vigente, a Agência Fitch entende agora que “o Brasil alcançou progresso em importantes reformas para enfrentar os desafios econômicos e fiscais”.

     

    Em entrevista coletiva à imprensa, na manhã desta quarta-feira (26), para comentar a mudança da nota do Brasil, o ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, avaliou que para obter o grau de investimento o país recebeu o apoio do Congresso Nacional, por meio dos presidentes das duas casas legislativas: Arthur Lira, na Câmara, e Rodrigo Pacheco, no Senado.

     

    “A Fitch é a primeira das grandes agências que muda a nota. Eu sempre disse, e continuo acreditando, que a harmonia entre os poderes é a saída para que voltemos a obter o grau de investimento”.  Haddad acrescentou os desafios para os próximos meses. “Temos tudo para vencer este jogo, mas temos muito trabalho pela frente e o próximo ano será chave, não só para atingir as metas previstas, mas também para regulamentar o que for aprovado este ano”, disse o ministro.  (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
