A Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) anunciou na sexta (31) a manutenção da bandeira vermelha patamar 1 irá vigorar no mês novembro. Isso significa que as contas de energia elétrica terão adicional de R$ 4,46 para cada 100 quilowatts-hora (kWh) consumidos.
Em agosto e setembro, a Aneel havia acionado a bandeira vermelha patamar 2, com adicional de R$ 7,87 por 100 kWh. Em outubro, a bandeira foi reduzida para o patamar 1.
De acordo com a Aneel, a medida foi adotada por causa do baixo volume de chuvas, afetando o nível dos reservatórios para a geração de energia nas usinas hidrelétricas. “O cenário segue desfavorável para a geração hidrelétrica, devido ao volume de chuvas abaixo da média e à redução nos níveis dos reservatórios. Dessa forma, para garantir o fornecimento de energia é necessário acionar usinas termelétricas, que têm custo mais elevado, justificando a manutenção da bandeira vermelha patamar 1”, informou a agência.
A agência reguladora de energia elétrica acrescentou “que a fonte solar de geração é intermitente e não injeta energia para o sistema o dia inteiro”. “Por essa razão, é necessário o acionamento das termelétricas para garantir a geração de energia quando não há iluminação solar, inclusive no horário de ponta”, acrescentou.
Custos extras
Criado em 2015 pela Aneel, o sistema de bandeiras tarifárias reflete os custos variáveis da geração de energia elétrica. Divididas em cores, as bandeiras indicam quanto está custando para o Sistema Interligado Nacional (SIN) gerar a energia usada nas residências, em estabelecimentos comerciais e nas indústrias.
Quando a conta de luz é calculada pela bandeira verde, não há nenhum acréscimo. Quando são aplicadas as bandeiras vermelha ou amarela, a conta sofre acréscimos a cada 100 quilowatts-hora (kWh) consumidos. (AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
