A diretoria da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) aprovou mudanças na rotulagem de medicamentos. De acordo com a agência, as alterações visam deixar mais claras as informações sobre os remédios nas embalagens, garantindo a segurança do paciente e o uso correto dos medicamentos.
No caso de remédios isentos de prescrição médica, a classe terapêutica e a indicação ficarão dispostas na parte da frente da embalagem para facilitar a visualização pelo consumidor.
O mesmo será feito para quantidade total de medicamento. “Com intuito semelhante, foi permitida a colocação da quantidade total do medicamento na face frontal da embalagem, podendo auxiliar o cidadão na comparação de preço dos produtos, sem, no entanto, causar prejuízo para a compreensão das informações relacionadas ao uso seguro do medicamento”, informa nota da Anvisa.
Segundo a agência, outra mudança é o uso obrigatório da técnica Tall Man Lettering (TML) – quando parte do nome de um remédio é escrito em letras maiúsculas – nos rótulos de medicamentos restritos ao uso de hospitais, clínicas, ambulatórios, serviços de atenção domiciliar e demais unidades de saúde.
Em relação a remédios que são vendidos ao governo federal, serão retiradas as frases que utilizam os termos venda sob prescrição, sendo substituídas por “Uso sob prescrição” e “Uso sob prescrição e retenção de receita”. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
