A macrorregião Oeste, a qual Nova Serrana está inserida, regrediu para a Onda Vermelha do plano Minas Consciente. As mudanças passam a valer a partir deste sábado (13).
A medida foi deliberada na quarta-feira (10) pelo Comitê Extraordinário Covid-19 do Governo de Minas, após aumento de 5% no número de casos e óbitos por coronavírus nos últimos sete dias no estado.
As regras e protocolos sanitários e de isolamento para a Onda Vermelha, a serem respeitados por cidadãos e estabelecimentos comerciais no município estão disponíveis no site do Plano Minas Consciente: www.mg.gov.br/minasconsciente
Nova Serrana tem registrado, nas últimas semanas, aumento considerável na taxa de ocupação do CTI-COVID. Nesta semana, o setor do Hospital São José chegou a bater 100% de ocupação dos leitos. Por coincidência, isso também ocorreu no mesmo dia na vizinha Divinópolis – maior cidade da região Centro-Oeste. No entanto, o triste cenário não é de exclusividade da nossa região, mas de todo o país. Só em Minas Gerais, nos últimos sete dias, houve um aumento de 5% no número de casos e óbitos por coronavírus. Na última quarta-feira (10), o estado registrou 10.409 novos casos da doença em 24 horas — foi o maior número desde o início da pandemia — e isso tem provocado a escassez de leitos de UTI para Covid.
Conforme os dados divulgados no site da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde, a taxa de ocupação de leitos de UTI para Covid está em 45,32%. Mas esse índice se refere ao número total de leitos de UTI do estado, que são 4.199. Minas só tem 2.428 leitos de UTI exclusivos para Covid: 1.903 deles estão ocupados. Ou seja, a taxa de ocupação é bem maior: chega a 78,3%.
No mesmo dia, o Brasil ultrapassou a lamentável marca de mais de 2 mil óbitos em 24 horas: foram 2.286 mortes por Covid-19 —o maior aumento diário em toda a pandemia. Isso representa uma morte confirmada a cada 37 segundos no Brasil. O país tem a segunda maior contagem de mortes pelo vírus em todo o mundo, atrás somente dos Estados Unidos.
