Uma festança pra ninguém colocar defeito. É assim que entrou para a história de Nova Serrana o 1º Arraiá do Cercado. Com muita música, dança, apresentações culturais e comidas típicas, a população encheu o antigo campo do Nacional para celebrar as tradições juninas tão marcantes em nosso estado.
Na sexta-feira (14), o evento contou com show de Lourenço e Lourival e no sábado (15), Di Paullo & Paulino. Nos dois dias o campo foi completamente tomado por milhares de pessoas que participaram da festa organizadamente e sem registro de ocorrências.
Para dar oportunidade aos artistas locais, bandas da cidade fizeram a abertura dos shows principais da noite. Além disso, alunos da casa de cultura, das escolas municipais e da Apae fizeram apresentações durante o evento.
 
“É mais um evento bem-sucedido que o nosso governo promove. Uma festa para as famílias com segurança, organização e muita cultura. Ficamos surpreendidos e satisfeitos com o resultado de tudo. Ver as pessoas comentando e elogiando a organização é extremamente gratificante. O nosso obrigado a todos que participaram direta e indiretamente dessa grande celebração”, comentou o prefeito Euzebio Lago.  
Barraquinhas com comidas e bebidas típicas, touro mecânico, quadrilha e uma grande fogueira deram o tom da festa que com certeza ficará na memória da cidade. Conforme os organizadores do evento, mais de 9 mil pessoas passaram pelo local nos dois dias de festa.
 
A secretária municipal de Educação e Cultura Neusa Lago, comemora o sucesso da iniciativa. “Tenho certeza que o Arraiá vai se tornar uma tradição em Nova Serrana e entrar para o calendário de festas da cidade. Foi um dos eventos mais organizados que já realizamos e a população aprovou, comparecendo em peso nos dois dias”, afirmou.
