No atletismo, Nova Serrana conquistou o pódio na prova de lançamento de dardo feminino. Ana Luisa Lima Garcia levou a medalha de ouro e Clarice Cunha de Vasconcelos ficou com a prata, reforçando o talento esportivo do município.
Já no futebol americano, a equipe Tigres Forjados — união entre Tigres Futebol Americano e Nova Serrana Forgeds — venceu o Juiz de Fora Imperadores por 7 a 0, garantindo um resultado importante na competição.
