E em Nova Serrana não é diferente. Com o surgimento de novos espaços para sua prática, o esporte virou o queridinho do momento em nossa cidade.
A atleta de Nova Serrana, Liza Tavares conquistou, no último sábado (2), o título do Torneio de Beach Tennis “Rainha da Quadra” realizado em Betim (MG). Liza levou o primeiro lugar na categoria Intermediária. O torneio contou ainda com as categorias Estreante e Iniciante com cerca de 50 participantes.
A atleta conta que apaixonou-se pelo esporte, pratica de três a quatro vezes por semana, e logo pensou em criar um espaço dedicado ao Beach Tennis no município.
O esporte é uma mistura do tênis de quadra com o vôlei de praia e é bastante inclusivo. Tanto atletas de outras modalidades, como pessoas sem vivências esportivas anteriores, crianças e pessoas de todas as idades podem aproveitar os benefícios do Beach Tennis, que não se resumem a parte física, mas também faz bem para a mente e promove socialização.
Para praticar o esporte em Nova Serrana, basta procurar a quadra situada na Av. Cel. Pacífico Pinto, 831 – Fausto Pinto da Fonseca.
