No ano de 1970, nascia a Biblioteca Aurélio Camilo em Nova Serrana. Se passaram 52 anos e o pequeno acervo se transformou em um mundo de conhecimento disponível para toda população. À época, uma biblioteca, ainda desconhecida por muitos, virou ponto de referência para leitores, escritores e apaixonados pela leitura; e a instalação da biblioteca, que foi um pequeno gesto, se transformou em marco histórico da cidade.
São essas conquistas que a equipe da Biblioteca Pública Municipal Aurélio Camilo quer celebrar. São 52 anos levando o conhecimento para crianças, jovens, adultos e idosos, ajudando estudantes a vencer os desafios e promovendo encontros culturais que valorizam e incentivam a leitura.
O evento será nesta quinta-feira (12). Toda a população está convidada a participar da celebração que terá início às 19h.
