O ex-presidente da República Jair Bolsonaro recebeu o título de cidadão honorário de Minas Gerais nesta segunda-feira (28/8), durante Reunião Especial de Plenário realizada na Assembleia Legislativa de Minas Gerais (ALMG).

 

A homenagem foi concedida pelo governador Romeu Zema em 2019. Conforme o decreto com numeração especial nº 300, trata-se de um reconhecimento “pelos relevantes serviços prestados em âmbito federal e estadual, no exercício das chefias de Estado e de governo do Brasil”.

 

A solenidade foi realizada na ALMG atendendo a um requerimento assinado por 26 parlamentares e que tem o deputado Coronel Sandro (PL) como primeiro signatário. Participaram da cerimônia deputados estaduais e federais e diversos apoiadores de Bolsonaro.

 

Bolsonaro elogiou o governador Romeu Zema e agradeceu a homenagem. “Recebo esse título de forma bastante honrosa. A partir de agora, sou oficialmente mineiro de coração”, disse. “Os momentos difíceis de nossa vida, nós conseguimos superá-los com quem realmente nos apoia”, continuou.

 

Por sua vez, o governador Romeu Zema falou sobre as realizações de sua gestão, destacando a regularização dos repasses estaduais para os municípios, a construção de unidades básicas de saúde e a privatização do metrô de Belo Horizonte, que, segundo ele, vai permitir a construção da linha 2 até o Barreiro. Zema ainda ressaltou o bom relacionamento com o Governo Federal durante a gestão Bolsonaro.
