O Brasil bateu novo recorde na média móvel mortes pela Covid-19, doença causada pelo novo coronavírus (Sars-CoV-2). A quantidade, de acordo com levantamento do Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Saúde (Conass), subiu para 2.634. O número anterior era 2.595 e foi registrado no domingo (28).
Ainda de acordo com o conselho, os óbitos pela doença nas últimas 24 horas foram 1.660, totalizando 313.866. Enquanto isso, as contaminações de domingo para esta segunda foram 38.327, chegando a um total de 12.573.615.
Às segundas-feiras, assim como aos finais de semana, os números costumam ser menores. Isso corre porque alguns setores das Secretarias de Saúde não funcionam ou ficam em regime de plantão, o que faz com que dados fiquem represados.
Para corrigir essa distorção, o uso da média móvel seja verificado de forma mais fidedigna a tendência de alta nas mortes por Covid-19, já que ela considera os dados dos últimos sete dias.
