As linhas de transmissão de energia elétrica da Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig) foram o fator principal do acidente aéreo que matou a cantora Marília Mendonça e outras quatro pessoas, em novembro de 2021, no distrito de Piedade de Caratinga, no município de Caratinga (MG).
A conclusão consta do relatório final apresentado, nesta segunda (15), pelo Centro de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos (Cenipa), órgão militar subordinado ao Comando da Aeronáutica. O laudo do acidente também descartou erro humano do piloto da aeronave Geraldo Martins de Medeiros, e falhas mecânicas e operacionais da aeronave.
O Cenipa esclarece ainda que as investigações realizadas não buscam estabelecer culpa ou responsabilidade de quem quer que seja. O objetivo é entender as circunstâncias do acidente para aprimorar as medidas de segurança de voos, evitar novos acidentes aéreos e, consequentemente, preservar vidas.
Após a apresentação do documento, o advogado Robson Cunha, que representa as famílias da cantora e também do tio e assessor da artista Abicieli Silveira Dias Filho, comentou os próximos passos. “Se eles [os cabos] estão numa área ou não passível de ter essa identificação é o que agora nós vamos tratar na esfera judicial”. O advogado também pediu rapidez na conclusão do inquérito da Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais.

A cantora Marília Mendonça e as outras pessoas morreram após a queda da aeronave modelo Beech Aircraft, prefixo PT-ONJ, momentos antes do pouso. O avião caiu em uma cachoeira do distrito de Piedade de Caratinga, no município de Caratinga (MG). (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
