A Caixa Econômica Federal encerra o pagamento do Abono Salarial do calendário 2020-2021, ano-base 2019, no dia 30 de junho. Os trabalhadores que atendem aos critérios para recebimento do benefício têm até esta data para saque dos valores nos canais disponibilizados pelo banco. Caso não saquem o benefício no período, os trabalhadores terão nova oportunidade de saque a partir do próximo calendário do Abono Salarial.
De acordo com a Resolução Codefat (Conselho Deliberativo do Fundo de Amparo ao Trabalhador) nº 838, de 24 de setembro de 2019, fica assegurado ao trabalhador o direito ao Abono Salarial pelo prazo de cinco anos. Desta forma, os benefícios não sacados até 30 de junho de 2021 serão novamente disponibilizados para pagamento, nos calendários dos exercícios seguintes, até que se complete o prazo determinado.
No calendário do Abono Salarial 2020-2021, a Caixa já pagou R$ 17 bilhões para 22 milhões de trabalhadores, dos quais 6,3 milhões receberam em conta Poupança Social Digital, aberta sem custo para o beneficiário.
A movimentação da conta Poupança Social Digital é realizada pelo aplicativo Caixa Tem, por meio do qual podem ser realizadas consultas de saldos e extratos, pagamentos de contas e boletos, transferências e compras na internet utilizando o cartão de débito virtual, gerado gratuitamente no próprio aplicativo. O Caixa Tem também permite compras no comércio por meio de um QR Code gerado pelo lojista na própria maquininha do estabelecimento comercial.
Até o momento, aproximadamente 560 mil trabalhadores ainda não sacaram o benefício, no valor total de R$ 328 milhões.
– Próximo calendário:
De acordo com a Resolução do Codefat nº 896, de 23 de março de 2021, os valores do pagamento do Abono Salarial, que tradicionalmente eram liberados no período de julho a junho do ano seguinte, passarão a ser pagos de janeiro a dezembro de cada exercício, com base nas informações prestadas pelos empregadores no ano anterior. Com essa alteração, o calendário 2022, ano-base 2020, terá início previsto para janeiro de 2022.
