A Câmara Municipal de Nova Serrana realizará a cerimônia de Lançamento do Programa Parlamento Jovem 2023, nesta terça (9), às 19 horas, durante a programação da 13ª Reunião Ordinária dos Vereadores.
O Parlamento Jovem de Minas (PJ Minas) é um programa de formação política e cidadã voltado para estudantes do ensino médio, promovido pela Assembleia Legislativa de Minas Gerais (ALMG) em parceria com câmaras municipais e com apoio da PUC Minas.
Em 2023, o PJ Minas realiza sua 19ª edição, com 146 câmaras municipais parceiras, sendo 44 ingressantes. As cidades participantes estão distribuídas em 20 polos regionais. Todo o programa é desenvolvido em rede, com a troca de informações e conteúdos entre as cidades e os polos participantes. Mas as discussões também são regionalizadas, e o foco das sugestões pode mudar de cidade para cidade, tornando o resultado ainda mais rico.
Jovem e Mercado de Trabalho
Este ano, o tema para debate é “Jovem e mercado de trabalho”. Os subtemas definidos pela coordenação estadual são os seguintes: 1) Desenvolvimento econômico e mercado de trabalho; 2) Escolaridade e qualificação profissional; e 3) Jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade e inclusão no trabalho.
A cada ano, os professores, vereadores e/ou servidores das câmaras municipais que atuam como coordenadores do projeto estudam e discutem o tema com os alunos. Nas oficinas, são geralmente convidados especialistas para falarem aos estudantes. Os coordenadores procuram estimular e acompanhar o crescimento desses jovens, em termos de consciência sobre a política e sobre o protagonismo que eles mesmos podem exercer.
Etapas do Programa
O projeto é estruturado em etapas municipais e regionais e na estadual, realizada em Belo Horizonte, quando ocorre a conclusão dos trabalhos. Ao final, as propostas elaboradas e votadas pelos estudantes são encaminhadas à Comissão de Participação Popular da ALMG e podem se transformar em propostas de ação legislativa, com vários desdobramentos práticos no Parlamento Mineiro.
