    CAMPANHA CONSCIENTIZA SOBRE OS PERIGOS DO USO E DA COMERCIALIZAÇÃO DE LINHAS CORTANTES

    Férias escolares, ventos fortes e céu aberto compõem o cenário ideal para as brincadeiras com pipas e papagaios. Sabendo disso, a Secretaria de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública (Sejusp) lançou nesta terça (25) mais uma edição da campanha “A Vida por um Fio”. O objetivo é alertar crianças, jovens e adultos sobre os perigos envolvidos no uso de cerol e linha chilena, além de incentivar a denúncia do comércio ilegal desses materiais e dos locais onde são fabricados.

     

    A lei estadual que proíbe a comercialização e uso de linhas cortantes está em vigor desde dezembro de 2019. Desde então, o Disque Denúncia Unificado (DDU) – 181 – registrou 436 denúncias dessas práticas em Minas Gerais, e a multa para quem for flagrado comercializando cerol ou linha chilena pode chegar a R$ 179 mil, para casos de reincidência. Caso os itens apreendidos estejam sob posse de crianças ou adolescentes, os responsáveis legais são notificados e o Conselho Tutelar acionado.

     

    Os perigos envolvendo as linhas, mesmo que feitas com materiais diferentes, são diversos e podem levar à morte. Por serem quase invisíveis e altamente cortantes, podem atingir ciclistas, motociclistas, transeuntes e a própria pessoa que estiver utilizando.
