A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Nova Serrana, em atendimento à Secretaria Estadual de Saúde de Minas Gerais (SES-MG) realizará, de 04 a 29 de novembro de 2024, a Campanha Estadual de Multivacinação para Atualização da Caderneta de Vacinação de crianças e adolescentes menores de 15 anos.
A Campanha tem como principais objetivos garantir o acesso às vacinas contempladas no Calendário Nacional de Vacinação da Criança e do Adolescente, promover a atualização da caderneta de vacinação, aumentar a cobertura e a homogeneidade vacinal, além de reduzir a incidência de doenças imunopreveníveis, contribuindo para o controle, eliminação e/ou erradicação dessas enfermidades.
A imunização é uma das estratégias de saúde pública mais eficazes e com melhor relação custo-benefício para a prevenção de doenças imunopreveníveis, proporcionando proteção individual e coletiva contra enfermidades que historicamente causaram alta morbidade e mortalidade. No Brasil, o Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI), tem como missão promover e organizar a Política Nacional de Imunizações, visando à proteção da população e contribuindo para a prevenção, o controle, a eliminação e/ou a erradicação de doenças imunopreveníveis.
As vacinas estarão disponíveis em todas as unidades de saúde. Para ser vacinado o usuário da Saúde deve levar documentos pessoais e cartão de vacinas.
Obs: A vacina contra Varicela está temporariamente em falta no Ministério da Saúde, afetando o abastecimento em todos os municípios.
