A 23ª Campanha Nacional de Vacinação contra a Influenza inicia nesta segunda-feira (12) com a meta de imunizar 90% do público prioritário, composto por aproximadamente 8,4 milhões de pessoas em Minas Gerais.
Dividida em três fases, a campanha tem como objetivo evitar aglomerações nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) e favorecer o planejamento dos municípios para atender os grupos prioritários. De acordo com a coordenadora estadual do Programa de Imunizações da SES-MG, Josianne Dias Gusmão, a primeira etapa ocorrerá entre os dias 12 de abril e 10 de maio e está direcionada à imunização de crianças de 6 meses a menores de 6 anos, gestantes e puérperas, povos indígenas e trabalhadores da saúde.
“Se, no momento da vacinação, a pessoa estiver incluída no grupo prioritário para a imunização contra a covid-19 e, também, para Influenza, a recomendação é que seja priorizada a vacinação contra o novo coranavírus. O reagendamento para a imunização contra a gripe deverá ser programada para 14 dias após a aplicação da dose contra a covid-19. “O intervalo entre as duas vacinas é necessário para que seja possível avaliar algum evento adverso referente a cada imunizante. Caso a pessoa vacinada apresente algum sintoma, será possível identificar a vacina administrada”, orienta Josianne.
Segundo a coordenadora, a vacina contra a gripe, assim como a da covid-19, reduz as complicações, internações e a mortalidade decorrentes das infecções pelas duas doenças, por isso é fundamental que os públicos prioritários compareçam às Unidades Básicas de Saúde nas etapas programadas.
– Idosos e professores
A segunda fase da campanha começa no dia 11 de maio e vai até o dia 8 de junho, tem como foco os idosos com mais de 60 anos e professores das escolas públicas e privadas. “A inclusão dos idosos nesta etapa tem o objetivo de possibilitar maior tempo para a imunização desse grupo contra a covid-19 e ocorrer o intervalo mínimo de 14 dias, prazo preconizado entre as duas vacinas”, reforça Josianne Gusmão.
– Última etapa
Já na terceira e última fase, que inicia em 9 de junho, deverão receber a vacina as pessoas com comorbidades, pessoas com deficiência, trabalhadores de transporte coletivo, portuários, forças de segurança e salvamento, forças armadas, funcionários do sistema de privação de liberdade, população privada de liberdade e adolescentes e jovens em medidas socioeducativas.
A campanha será encerrada no dia 9 de julho e as etapas ocorrerão simultaneamente em todos os municípios mineiros. “A vacina contra a influenza é a medida de prevenção mais importante para proteger contra o agravamento da doença, como hospitalizações e óbitos. Principalmente, nesse momento de pandemia, em que os serviços de saúde estão sobrecarregados por causa da covid-19”, alerta Josianne Gusmão.
